Currently, as Chief Data Officer of Telefónica Group, is in charge of the creation of a harmonized infrastructure able to maximize the value of the personal data for the customers of Telefónica. Through this project, Telefónica is being the first multinational Telecommunications operator defining, deploying and exploiting a common set of capabilities which will reduce the TTM of the new data-based products and will maximize the value of the synergies among the different operations in the footprint.
Francisco joint Telefónica in 2013 as Group Devices Unit Director, creating a new management model of the end-to-end of the category, from the technologies and portfolio selection up to the procurement process. Previous to this role, he worked in Nokia Mobile Phones as Sales Director for Telefónica, after spending 6 years developing his career in different roles in Sales Operations, GTM and Product Management. He also worked at
Nokia Networks in both technical and commercial roles between 2000 and 2004. His track also includes different technical management roles at France Telecom, Alcatel, Lucent Technologies and Spanish Department of Defense, when he actually started his career as engineer by 1990.
