Speaker Bio
Clara Cuervo is the Senior Director for Digital Precision Healthcare in Europe and Canada at Astrazeneca (AZ), she is based in the new AZ Barcelona Hub. In her role, Clara drives the development and execution of priorities related to the care pathway optimization by leading the era of digital precision healthcare regionally. Clara and the team support Oncology, Biopharma and Rare Disease teams in that regard.
Clara joins AstraZeneca from Novartis, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from different roles. Her latest role was Head of Brands Maximization and New Ventures and has held different roles in the Spanish organization over the last 3 years (Head of Transformation, BD&L, Established Medicines Portafolio).
With a background in Strategy and Innovation, Clara spent most of her career in the US working in Strategy and Innovation for healthcare providers and academic medical centers such as DaVita Kidney Care and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Before that, she was a healthcare consultant working with multilateral institutions among others in the US, Europe and LATAM.
Clara considers herself a global citizen but is a native of Barcelona, she enjoys connecting with purpose driven leaders and entrepreneurs to unlock the value of innovation in healthcare.
