Since 2020, Anna Borg is the president and CEO of Vattenfall, one of the leading energy companies in Europe. Vattenfall is serving 14 million customers in nine markets with a vision to enable a fossil free living within one generation.
Anna Borg previously held the position as the CFO of Vattenfall. Between 2015-2017 she headed European fin tech player Klarna’s online buying and payment solutions business in the Nordics before returning to Vattenfall for the role as Senior Vice President of Business Area Markets. Before that Anna Borg spent 18 years at Vattenfall and held numerous Business unit management positions in sales including B2C, B2B and industry customers, trading and business development across Europe.
Anna Borg is a board member of the privately-owned holding company FAM AB and Ruter Dam, the Executive Development and Mentoring program for female senior leaders. In 2022 she was named CEO of the year (Sweden) and Sweden’s Most Influential Energy Person. Anna holds a Master of Economics and Political Science from the University of Uppsala, Sweden.
