Speaker Bio

I am a medical doctor with a deep-seated passion for intelligent healthcare solutions. Over the past 25 years, my career has been dedicated to the digitization and transformation of healthcare services.

I began my journey at the University of Tartu in Estonia, where I earned my Medical Degree (MD), followed by clinical practice in general medicine. I furthered my expertise by obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Harvard University, USA.

Currently, I am dedicated to the role of Cofounder and Head of Development and Partnership at HeBA Clinic, which epitomizes my career-long engagement with technology-driven innovation in healthcare. My significant professional experiences in Estonia include serving as the Undersecretary for e-services and innovation at the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Chief Medical Officer at Guardtime, a cybersecurity company, and the CEO of the Praxis think tank.

My international endeavors span consulting for multinational corporations, governments, and organizations, mentoring in business development, and contributing to global communities such as Digital Health Society, openEHR and GovStack. As a serial entrepreneur, I have founded and successfully exited two companies, and I am presently the Senior Advisor in Healthcare Business at Nortal.

An advocate for knowledge-sharing, I enjoy public speaking, lecturing on innovation and technology in healthcare at various universities, and am a regular keynote speaker at international conferences.
