Information
Centre for Information Technology (COI) is the leader in IT projects for the Polish public sector. Its mission is to provide citizens with state-of-the-art digital services. COI supports and develops the country's largest IT systems, develops and issues e-services, and manages state registers and data sets.
The COI team is responsible for the development of the country's most important systems and services, including the flagship mObywatel App (mCtizen App), which simplifies and improves the way citizens deal with official matters without leaving their homes. mObywatel makes it possible to keep documents at hand on one’s phone.
The app provides citizens with a range of convenient functionalities:
• Digital documents in one place: among the others: mDowód (mID) and mobile driving license.
• Services that will be helpful in handling official matters and protecting against fraudsters – e.g. Block PESEL.
• Quick access to one’s prescriptions, the number of penalty points, or air quality measurements.
