To meet the needs of ultra-high speed, ultra-large capacity and ultra-long distance transmission of 400G+ system optical transmission network, G.654.E fiber stands out due to its excellent performance of large effective area (effective area 125μm2@1550nm) and ultra-low loss (fiber attenuation ≤0.17dB/km@1550nm). It can significantly reduce the nonlinear effect of optical fiber, improve the system optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR), increase the unrepeated transmission distance of the system, reduce the number of relay stations, thus greatly reduce the system construction cost and operation and maintenance cost.
