Oleksii Sharavar, CEO of QazCode, leads VEON and Beeline Kazakhstan initiatives on developing artificial intelligence in local languages for emerging markets. Under his leadership, next-generation large language models (LLMs) are being created to address practical challenges for businesses, government institutions, and communities.

One of the flagship projects is KazLLM - the first national language model of Kazakhstan, officially presented to the Head of State in 2024 and awarded the GSMA Foundry Award at MWC Barcelona 2025. In 2026, under his guidance, the development of a large-scale language model for Pakistan, with a population of 225 million, was launched with the support of the relevant ministries of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

Under Oleksii’s leadership, QazCode develops agentic AI for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as solutions for healthcare and education, automating workflows, customer service, and operational functions across multiple local languages. In addition, the company offers a full range of IT solutions for corporate and government sectors, including systems automation, BSS platforms, Big Data, and IT outsourcing, which are successfully exported to foreign markets in Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia.
