James Detmer

Speaker Bio

James Detmer is a Director of Product Management for Business Messaging at Meta, where he focuses on helping companies grow through our messaging apps. In his nearly eight years at Meta, he has specialized in building scalable tools and experiences that drive business outcomes, including leading the launch of Meta Business Suite and Facebook Pages. He currently leads the company's Paid Messaging business. Before Meta, James supported product teams at Lyft, Weebly, and other startups in the San Francisco Bay Area. He lives in Santa Barbara with his family, and enjoys supporting local small businesses when he's not spending time with his two boys or his five-year-old dog, Olive, at the beach.
