Marc is a Barcelona-born food activist, CEO and co-founder of Heura. In 2017 he co-founded Heura as a vehicle for positive change, dedicating his livelihood to creating sustainable solutions for the food industry and making livestock obsolete. Originally launching in Spain, where the 100% plant-based food tech startup is now market leader, Marc has since built and led a team of nearly 200 Good Rebels in expanding his vision to accelerate the plant-based protein transition across Europe, growing the sector in the UK, France, Italy and DACH.
Marc’s efforts have been recognized by prestigious organizations, such as Forbes, who named him one of the “100 most creative people in business” in 2019. He was also recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by the magazine Emprendedores and AIJEC in 2020. The following year, Marc and his co-founder Bernat were included in Forbes’ 100 Other Fortunes” list for their positive impact on the world. Marc is also a TEDx speaker and was listed as one of the people leading the future of the food industry in 50Next, the list made by 50Best.
