President, FDM CCS Insight
Shaun founded CCS Insight in 1993, and he and the team have built the business into one of the world's most widely respected and quoted analyst and data houses. FDM, a data-insights business, acquired CCS Insight in late 2025; until recently, Shaun led the combined companies as Group CEO and has now stepped up as President. Shaun has been involved in the technology industry since the late 1980s. He was European account director for Motorola when it led the European market, and has held senior roles in the UK, Europe and the US.
With offices in London, California and India, FDM CCS Insight continues to grow, offering research, data, analysis and advice to many organisations, including 10 of the top 10 technology companies in the Fortune 500.
Shaun has been the Chair of Judges for the GSMA's GLOMO awards programme since 2017. Now in its 31st year, he has helped make it the world’s most widely acclaimed and sought-after awards for digital industries. He has also been instrumental in expanding the programme to include GLOMOs Asia, presented each year at MWC Shanghai.
Shaun has also led the KPMG Mobile Start-Up of the Year awards in the UK and can regularly be seen interviewing and moderating discussions with global technology leaders and CEOs across the world. He is often quoted in the media, including Reuters, the BBC, the Financial Times, and many others.
All entries will be judged against the criteria outlined in each of the category descriptions and the specific information requested on the entry forms. The decision of the judges will be final.
To be selected in the shortlist for a GLOMO Award means recognition as a serious player – one to be watched closely in the tech sector. And to then win a GLOMO Award, means achieving the highest merit by your peers across the entire digital industry.
