AIMS MEDICAL, a spin-off of the Consorci Sanitari del Maresme in Parc TecnoCampus, develops clinical decision support software for age-related diseases. Our main product, AIMS-RISK, is a platform for the systematic and automatic screening of oropharyngeal dysphagia (OD), malnutrition (MN) and aspiration pneumonia (AP). It includes AIMS-OD (TRL 7), AIMS-MN (TRL 4) and AIMS-AP (TRL 4). AIMS-RISK uses non-identifying data from electronic medical records and processes hospital queries via API, providing a dichotomous result (YES/NO). It automates screening for thousands of patients, detecting 80-100% at risk. We collaborate with 4 public Catalan hospitals and run pilots in Portugal and Denmark.
