Paulo Tavares is a Managing Director at Accenture, based in São Paulo, Brazil with over 23 years of international experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation. He serves as LATAM Networks Lead, working at the intersection of telecommunications, digital operations and AI-enabled execution to help organizations modernize networks and drive measurable business outcomes. In this role, Paulo leads complex transformation programs across Latin America, spanning network evolution, operating model redesign, cloud adoption and data-driven decision-making. He partners with C-level leaders and delivery teams to connect strategy with execution, with a strong focus on scaling initiatives beyond pilot stages and embedding resilience, performance and efficiency into day-to-day operations.

With a proven track record in client leadership and strategic delivery, Paulo brings a practical perspective on how enterprises can operationalize AI in core network processes that drives true impact on CX —especially in network planning, deployment and intelligent operations. His approach combines business discipline with deep technology fluency, enabling organizations to accelerate transformation while reducing execution risk.

Paulo holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Babson College. At MWC Barcelona, he explores how AI and autonomous network models are reshaping Networks & Customer Experience (CX)—enabling telecom operators to deliver smarter operations and more relevant, responsive customer interactions at scale.
