Freddie Södergren

Speaker Bio

Freddie Södergren is Vice President and Global Head of Mission Critical Networks and Defense at Ericsson. He is globally responsible for strategy, portfolio, and operational readiness for Ericsson’s business in Public safety, Defense, Rail, and Utilities, as well as new business development, including Digital Airspace and Non-Terrestrial Networks (5G satellites).

Freddie joined Ericsson from McKinsey where he was a Partner. He led McKinsey Digital in Sweden and advised companies in the telecom and technology sector on business and technology strategy as well as technology-enabled transformations. He also published a paper in June 2019, “Development in the mobility technology ecosystem – how can 5G help?”.

Freddie holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Linköping University.
