He completed a PhD in Sports Science at Liverpool John Moores University, where his research investigated speed-endurance training in elite youth soccer players. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sporting Directorship from Manchester Metropolitan University, an MSc in Sport Sciences (Applied Human Performance) from Brunel University, and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Hull.

Jack has published several peer-reviewed research papers in leading sports science journals. His work focuses on how physical performance data can inform innovative training and testing methods that integrate physical, technical, and tactical aspects of the game. He has also conducted research examining the role of the performance director in elite football, with particular emphasis on performance management and leadership requirements.
