Luiz Abud is an accomplished sales executive and currently serves as Vice President, Commercial and Technology Partnerships at AST SpaceMobile, where he leads strategic alliances and drives revenue growth in emerging technologies and space-based communications. With over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, he has built a strong track record of developing high-impact partnerships, expanding global sales, and managing complex, multi-million-dollar portfolios. Prior to AST SpaceMobile, Luiz held senior leadership roles at Nokia, including Head of Emerging Technologies and Head of Sales for Hyperscale. He also served as President of Nera Networks and later became Vice President of Sales and Marketing following its acquisition by Ceragon. A Brazilian national based in Dallas, TX, Luiz holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and triple MBAs in Business Management, Marketing, and Strategic Project Management. He is passionate about leveraging technology to connect people and drive meaningful advancements in our increasingly interconnected world.
