  1. Malcolm has worked on 5G private network design and deployment across a number of use cases and deploy-ments in the last 6 years, including setup of 5G networks in UK, Ireland, France, Denmark, Netherlands and Kenya. In 2010, Malcolm worked with BBC and BT Openreach on a project to set up the UKs first TV White Space shared spectrum network in Scotland. He worked in Kenya with Microsoft to set up the Mawingu Networks project connecting people in rural off-grid villages through wireless access. More recently Malcolm has been the lead engineer on key Neutral Wireless projects, including the deployment of the world’s largest popup 5G SA network for King Charles III Coronation in 2023 and supporting 20 interntional broadcasters, and the Paris 2024 deployment of 5G SA networks for the Olympics opening ceremony, at three event stadiums and a network-at-sea for supporting cameras at the the sailing events, working alongside Orange Events, Cisco, Intel and delivering to Olympic Broadcasting Services.
