Talia Rafaeli is a founding partner of Kompas VC, an early-stage European venture capital fund investing in the future of industrial technologies that focus on resilience, productivity and digital transformation across the entire spectrum of technologies - software, hardware and materials. Currently, Kompas is investing out of its second early-stage fund, Kompas II (EUR 160M). For the past fifteen years, she has held both early stage investing and operational roles in leading venture capital firms focusing on verticals including enterprise software, mobility and Industry 4.0.
Prior to launching Kompas, Talia was director of investments at Porsche AG’s flagship venture fund, Porsche Ventures, with a focus on deep-tech deals in mobility innovation, sustainability solutions, software architecture and emerging automotive technologies.
Talia launched her career as an investment banker at both Goldman Sachs and Barclays Capital in New York and London, respectively, covering the retail and technology sectors. She also spent several years working at Accenture as an IT infrastructure consultant. She holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School at Columbia University in New York and a dual bachelors degree in Economics and Computer Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
