Jim Gowen, Senior Vice President, New Revenue Generation and Chief Sustainability Officer, Verizon
Jim Gowen serves as the Senior Vice President of New Revenue Generation and Chief Sustainability officer at Verizon.
In his new role of Senior Vice President, New Revenue Generation, he is responsible for the commercial evolution of Verizon’s enterprise operations and driving the continued evolution of Verizon’s operating model.
As Chief Sustainability Officer, he leads the company’s sustainable growth strategies. He also oversees initiatives being implemented across Verizon including enhancements to energy source resiliency, e-waste reduction and recycling, and management of end-of-life-cycle material recovery.
Gowen also oversees the company’s Small Business Supplier Accelerator, which helps create a pipeline for American small businesses to work with Verizon and other large corporations.
Gowen earned his master's degree in business administration from Long Island University and his bachelor's degree from Manhattanville College.
