Fabrizio is currently the Implementation Manager in the ESA's Space for 5G / 6G & Sustainable Connectivity Program Line, covering the strategy, coordination and implementation of industrial activities involving converged satellite and terrestrial 5G/6G networks, with a high degree of innovation, in terms of technologies, services and business models.
During his career at ESA, Fabrizio has led a range of large development contracts in the area of telecom ground segment RF/Antenna, ASICs, and payload RF equipment and technologies. Prior to joining ESA, Fabrizio worked in the space industry and has played a key role in the delivery of complex satellites, systems and products to major commercial satellite prime contractors (Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, MDA, MELCO).
Fabrizio holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Applied Electromagnetics from the "Sapienza" University of Rome. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
