European Space Agency - The success of NTN Experimentation on a global scale

Major Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) trials in 2025 and 2026 are focused on integrating 5G standards directly with Very Small Aperture Antennas (VSATs) and smartphones (Direct-to-Device or D2D), using LEO satellite constellations.
