Session Description
Major Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) trials in 2025 and 2026 are focused on integrating 5G standards directly with Very Small Aperture Antennas (VSATs) and smartphones (Direct-to-Device or D2D), using LEO satellite constellations. This panel explores the benefits of NTN experimentation on a global scale and the role of the European Space Agency (ESA) in facilitating these activities for the wider community.
