Amr Albanna is a wireless telecommunications leader with more than 30 years of experience driving innovation across large-scale carrier, enterprise, and venue networks. He is widely recognized for building and leading high-performance engineering teams and for developing AI-powered tools, processes, and methodologies that elevate network performance, efficiency, cost savings, and business outcomes.

He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with a focus on wireless capacity enhancement. His research and applied work have delivered up to a 45% improvement in network capacity and performance across some of the world’s largest operator networks.

Amr is the architect of patented AI optimization algorithms and the founder of AI Optimized Networks (AiON) — the industry’s first AI-driven wireless design and optimization platform for indoor, outdoor, and heterogeneous networks. AiON has demonstrated throughput improvements of up to 120% on live networks and has been deployed across major Super Bowl stadiums, large-scale theme parks, and global Formula 1 events.
