Samir Ceric

Samir Ceric, investor, entrepreneur, senior executive, mentor, philanthropist, public speaker; an influential figure in sports investment, tech and blockchain, recognised for his pioneering role in digitalising the sports industry. Ceric, who is involved in a number of sports tech companies as an investor, board members or advisor, has an extensive expertise on the evolving intersection of sports and technology. His early career involved telco and aviation industries and in 2025 he led a strategic partnership with Deutsche Telekom in sports tech space, delivering a speech at DT's HQ in Bonn on the power of connectivity, 5G, digital transformation and sports.  He recently set up a sports venture entity, a pioneering investment platform dedicated to acquiring and transforming sports teams globally. Ceric is a chairman of a seventh-generation, values-driven family business embodying a deep commitment to trust, growth and innovation. 

Ceric has championed the role of technology in sport across a broad array of areas, from deeper fan engagement powered by blockchain to climate tech solutions (mobility and waterless technology) to drive sustainability for sports properties and more recently has got involved in MedTech and HealthTech space too, with a focus on a wide spectrum of applications in sport such as AI and concussions.
