Speaker Bio

Dr Eric Tyree is the Executive Director of Data and AI at Virgin Media O2 responsible for strategic AI driven transformation and the underlying data platforms for the business. Key focus is creating revenue growth, improved customer experience and cost reduction through the operationalisation of AI at scale. 


Previously Eric was the SVP of Product at Wejo, an AI driven data distributor in the connected car data market and SVP AI and Innovation at Blue Prism, a B2B software robotics and automation company were he was responsible for generating new value via the aggressive adoption of AI into the product and the creation of a scaled automation platform offering. Eric also served as the CTO for data and analytics at CWT responsible for the creation of personalisation and revenue optimisation platforms.  Eric has founded and helped develop startups in the hedge fund and finanancial services technology markets.


Eric builds and leads high perfornace AI and data organisations and is experienced in setting enterprise wide AI and data strategy accommodating commercial, operational, infrastructure and governance needs in large corporations, scaleups and startups.
