Session Description
In an increasingly unpredictable world, from natural disasters to cyber-attacks and infrastructure failures, resilience means more than redundancy. With the convergence of high-speed connectivity and intelligent automation, networks powered by AI and 5G give organisations and societies the tools to anticipate, respond to, and recover from crises faster and smarter. As 5G rollout expands globally, and AI-driven analytics become more capable of predictive monitoring, the potential to build “always-on, self-healing” networks is taking shape.
This session explores how 5G and AI can transform crisis readiness into proactive resilience: using real-time data analytics, edge computing, automated routing and load balancing, intelligent anomaly detection, and rapid disaster-response coordination. We’ll discuss global trends within urban megacities and climate-vulnerable zones and how they are investing in network resilience to safeguard essential services such as healthcare, logistics, utilities and communications.
