Roman Axelrod

Speaker Bio

Roman Axelrod is the founder of XPANCEO, a deep tech company developing an invisible and weightless smart contact lens as the ultimate interface for the next generation of AI-powered XR computing. With over 17 years of experience, Axelrod has built and scaled companies across Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East. At XPANCEO, he oversees corporate strategy, product development, marketing activities, and team operations, guiding the company towards its vision of replacing the current generation of computing.

Axelrod graduated from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School with a master level Diploma in Strategy and Finance. He also has an academic background in international private law and financial management.

In 2024, Axelrod was named to MIT Arabia’s Innovators Under 35 list and received Entrepreneur Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year Tech Innovators Award.
