With over 20 years of experience as a global product leader, Shamit is a strategic products and innovation expert with a proven track record of delivering innovative and complex product development programs. He heads the GSMA’s Network Services portfolio, which includes Interoperability, Circularity, and Fraud Prevention Services.

Within Interoperability Services, he oversees flagship products including Network Settings Exchange, Interoperability Testing, and the Entitlements service. These offerings collectively serve as a critical bridge between mobile operators and device manufacturers, ensuring seamless and consistent end‑user experiences.

In addition, Shamit leads the GSMA’s Circularity Services, connecting buyers and sellers to advance a global reverse‑commerce ecosystem. He also oversees the organisation’s Fraud Prevention Services, including IRSF, and continues to support essential legacy services such as Pathfinder.

Shamit is a certified Product Leader from Product School, a PRINCE2 Practitioner, and holds a BE in Information Technology from Mumbai University, an MBA in Finance from Leeds University Business School, and professional education in Blockchain – Disruptive Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
