Private Networks in Practice: Enterprise deployment models and ecosystem collaboration

At MWC Barcelona 2026, the GSMA Private Networks Community will host an invitation-only executive roundtable bringing together mobile network operators, vendors, system integrators, and enterprise leaders to examine how private networks are being designed, deployed, and scaled globally.

As enterprise demand accelerates, private networks are evolving beyond standalone deployments toward more flexible architectures, including network slicing, hybrid public–private models, and on-premises data strategies. This roundtable will explore how these approaches are being implemented in practice, the architectural choices enterprises face, and the implications for performance and operational control.

The session will also mark the launch of the GSMA Private Networks Community whitepaper, Private Networks: Network Components and Deployment Architectures, providing a foundation for discussion on real-world deployment models and future direction.

Designed as a peer-to-peer exchange, the roundtable will highlight enterprise perspectives, identify shared challenges, and define tangible outcomes to guide the Private Networks Community’s next phase of work.
