VR Training

Developed within Aena Ventures, Aena’s Open Innovation Program, in collaboration with DeuSens, the VR Traing project addresses the use of immersive XR technologies to advance virtual training for airport operational staff, including firefighters, maintenance personnel, and marshallers. The initiative focuses on creating high‑fidelity airport environments and fully 3D‑modeled aircraft that support realistic simulation scenarios for hands‑on training and skills evaluation in complex operational settings.
The project makes use of immersive interaction capabilities, such as haptic devices, alongside scalable virtual training content tailored to different operational profiles. This approach aims to strengthen safety, operational efficiency, and professional competence development in mission‑critical airport activities.
