NW Nessie Portable Basestation

The Neutral Wireless “Nessie” is our latest basestation server platform, featuring heavyweight performance in a featherweight form-factor.

We have repackaged our trusted high performance 1U system into a custom chassis, and fitted this in a connectorised hardcase. This server is designed to run our vRAN gNB stack, our nibOS configuration and KPI toolkit, and our (optional) 5G Core. The rugged case is splashproof, easy to deploy, and weighs in at less than 5kg.

For dark fibre fronthaul between the server and the radio, we typically supply tactical fibre reels with locking connectors; however we can also support opticalCON or SMPTE311M interfaces for customers that wish to utilise existing cable stock.

We will of course continue to offer our rack server form factor for customers that request it.
