K-water shall contribute to improving the livelihood of the Korean people, enhancing public welfare by ensuring an abundant supply of clean water, including residential and industrial water, and improving water quality through the comprehensive development and efficient management of water resources (Article 1 of the Korea Resources Corporation Act).
Since 1967, K-water has built Korea's foundation for sustainable growth through advanced water management and infrastructure. Now a global leader, it uses super-gap technologies like Digital Twin and AI-based treatment plants. K-water has completed 120 projects in 41 countries and leads international governance by establishing the Asia Water Council (AWC).
