Laura Urquizu is the President and CEO of Red Points, which, under her leadership over the past 10 years, has become one of the largest technology companies in Spain and one of the most recognized startups in Europe. The company offers an artificial intelligence solution against online fraud related to counterfeiting, illegal content, identity theft on social media, grey market, and other internet infringements.


For several consecutive years, in 2018, 2019, 2024, and 2025, Laura has been listed among the "50 most influential women entrepreneurs and investors in the European technology industry" by EU-Start-Ups. Laura was also awarded by AED as the best CEO in Spain in the Start-Up category in 2019. In 2020, publications such as Forbes and Business Insider recognized her as one of the most relevant business leaders globally, and in 2021, she was named among the top 50 global CEOs of SaaS companies.


Previously, Laura Urquizu held executive and leadership positions at Arthur Andersen, Caja Navarra, and CAN Corporación. She led the Technology and Media division at Caja Navarra for 5 years and later managed one of the first venture funds for tech startups in Spain, called Eurecan, from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, she was a board member of numerous European technology startup boards and advised several investment groups in tech companies such as Inspirit and Lokku in London. Laura Urquizu is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Cercle d´Economia since 2019, as well as a trustee of the Hermes Foundation, which defends digital rights. She is also the Founder and was President of Global Legal Tech Hub from 2020 to 2024, and is an investor in several startups.
