Amith Maharaj is Group Chief Technology Officer at MTN Group, where he leads the overall technology strategy across 17 markets in Africa and the Middle East. He is responsible for advancing MTN’s 5G innovation and deployment, maintaining network quality leadership, and driving cost efficiencies across existing technologies throughout the Group. Maharaj brings 25 years of telecommunications experience across Africa and the Middle East and holds a BSc in Engineering and an MBA.
