Angel Melguizo

Speaker Bio

Angel is a senior economist based in Spain with 25 years of experience at both private and public sector, specialized in economic growth, public policies and digital economy. He is also a senior research advisor at Oxford University TIDE Centre.

Previously he held different positions at AT&T Latin America, OECD, InterAmerican Development Bank, BBVA Financial Group and the Economic Office of the President of Spain.

He received his Ph.D. in economics from the Universidad Complutense, Madrid (Spain).

He recently published with Victor Muñoz, The Green Code: AI+Energy. How energy efficiencies will decide the digital race.
