Jaihun Jung

Speaker Bio

Jaihun Jung, CEO of SK Telecom, is an accomplished executive with a legal background and extensive experience in senior leadership roles across SK Group.

After graduating from Seoul National University College of Law, he spent over 20 years in the legal profession, serving in prominent positions including Presiding Judge of the Seoul Central District Court, Chief of the Judicial IT Bureau at the National Court Administration, and Professor at the Judicial Research and Training Institute.

Mr. Jung joined SK Group in 2020 as Head of Legal Affairs Group at SK Telecom. In 2021, he became a founding member of SK Square, where he led the Investment Support Center, overseeing core areas such as strategy, finance, human resources, and legal affairs.

In 2024, he was appointed Chair of the Governance Committee of the SUPEX Council, the highest decision-making body of SK Group, playing a key role in advancing the Group’s management systems. At the same time, he served as President of Governance and External Affairs (Chief Governance Officer) at SK Telecom, leading the company’s ESG, Corporate Relations, and Public Relations functions.
