Elisa Garcia Anzano is a San Francisco–based AI executive and current VP of AI & Telco Business Development at Cisco, where she leads strategy and execution of AI partnerships across the portfolio, including collaborations with OpenAI and Anthropic, neoclouds & sovereign AI initiatives. Previously, she was VP of Business Development at Scale AI, where she built and led the global BD function, drove strategic investors into the $1B Series F round, and executed international expansion and M&A. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Meta AI, where she helped commercialize Llama 2 and transition PyTorch to the PyTorch Foundation, Partner at M12 (Microsoft Ventures) investing in AI, quantum, and cloud infrastructure companies, and multiple global business development roles at Microsoft across Azure, Office 365, Windows, and developer ecosystems. Elisa holds a Telecommunications Engineering BS & MSc from the Public University of Navarra and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
