Andy Hock Ph.D.

SVP and Chief Strategy Officer

Dr. Andy Hock is Chief Strategy Officer, Senior Vice President Product & Strategy at Cerebras Systems. Andy has more than twenty years’ experience building at the intersection of deep technology algorithms, systems, and AI. At Cerebras, Andy leads strategic partnerships and product strategy, U.S. federal programs and policy, international development and sovereign strategy. Andy joined Cerebras Systems in 2017 for Google, where he led the development of AI data platforms and products for Maps and other geospatial applications. Prior to Google, Andy was Senior Director – Advanced Technologies for Skybox Imaging (acquired by Google in 2014 for $500M), and Senior Program Manager and Senior Scientist for Arete Associates. He holds a PhD in Geophysics and Space Physics from UCLA. He is a prior NASA GSRP Fellow and Lewis & Clark Scholar of the American Philosophical Society.
