Yolanda Pérez has been the director of BStartup since its inception 12 years ago. BStartup is Banco Sabadell’s division aimed at supporting young technological and innovative companies and the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem, with specialised banking services, seed capital investment and collaborative innovation.


Since the beginning of 2019, she has also been the director of Hub Empresa, a new initiative from Banco Sabadell to support the growth of companies in all sectors and of all sizes.


Before joining Banco Sabadell, Yolanda Pérez had worked for more than 15 years in various public and private initiatives that supported the creation of companies. For the most part, she worked in various roles at Barcelona Activa and the Local Development Agency of the Barcelona City Council, where she promoted and ran programmes for innovative companies (incubators, technology parks, programmes for financing, growth, internationalisation, funding, business cooperation, etc.).


She has a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Pompeu Fabra University and the Johns Hopkins University, and has taken several courses on business creation, growth and investment.
