Speaker Bio

Molly Taylor is a UK-based lived experience children's rights advocate, campaigner, writer and advisor. She is also Co-Chair of the #iwill movement, supporting young people across the UK to change the systems and environments around them.


Molly has advised NGOs and UK government departments on issues including loneliness, youth justice, children’s social care, youth strategy and co-design with young people, and has played a key role in allocating millions of pounds in funding for youth projects across the UK. She previously worked for the UK’s largest children’s charity as a policy advisor, embedding children and young people in decision-making at all levels.


Her international work includes Council of Europe initiatives on shrinking civic space and future-proofing human rights education. Molly believes children’s rights are everyone’s responsibility and that today’s intersecting crises are best addressed through lived experience
