Luq is the Global Managing Partner, Industries for IBM Consulting and leads the team of Global Industry Leaders (each being Managing Partners) responsible for Industry Thought Leadership, Industry Transformation, Industry Solutions, Industry Partnerships and Industry Expertise for their respective industries. In his industry role, Luq is responsible for the global team leading industry strategy, industry business development, industry solutions, industry alliances, industry centres of excellence, industry eminence and industry talent agendas in service of our key clients across 4 geos and 20+ markets.

Luq’s experience includes industry platforms and transformation, new operating model design and implementation, business process re-engineering, organization design and change management, programme and project management and the full spectrum of enabling technology services from advisory, consulting, systems integration and delivery through to application management and outsourcing. Luq’s current focus is helping clients achieve improved business performance and agility through Digital transformation, hybrid-cloud and AI and realizing the longer-term goals of the sustainable enterprise and value chains.

Luq is a member of the IBM Acceleration Team; a group of the top 350 Executives in the company responsible for the transformation, performance and culture of the IBM company.

Luq holds a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University and an MBA (Distinction) from Imperial College, London. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
