Speaker Bio

Fredrik is an entrepreneur focused on transforming weather forecasting through improved use of existing telecom infrastructure. He is the CEO of Skyfora, a 4YFN Technology Awards finalist (Top 20) at MWC, that pioneer Telecom GNSS Meteorology, a breakthrough innovation that turns existing mobile network GNSS receivers into high-resolution weather sensors with a safe, software-only solution.

Skyfora enables mobile network operators to generate new revenue from infrastructure already deployed, while improving network resilience and supporting ESG and new monetization strategies. By leveraging GNSS signal data from cell towers, we create dense, asset-level atmospheric 3D observations that significantly enhance next-generation, open-source AI weather models developed by e.g. NVIDIA and Google DeepMind.
