Hongseok Cheon, Co-founder and CTO of Twinny, is a visionary leader driving a paradigm shift in industrial automation through advanced autonomous robot technology. Built upon its proprietary 3D LiDAR-based autonomous driving technology, Twinny enables precise and stable navigation in complex industrial environments without the need for markers or additional infrastructure, significantly expanding the practical utility of autonomous robots across various industries. By leveraging integrated control technology that lowers the barrier to robot adoption, the company is accelerating its global expansion and rapidly broadening the industrial scope of autonomous robotics.



Dr. Cheon earned his Master’s and Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Korea University’s Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Radio Engineering. Since founding Twinny in 2015, he has served as a lead R&D expert in mobile robot algorithms, driving the company’s rapid growth and contributing to the advancement of the domestic autonomous robot industry. His leadership has earned him widespread recognition for both technological innovation and business viability.
