Ori Sasson is the Founder and CEO of Metafore, an AI-native enterprise platform built to replace the legacy architectures that have defined CRM, contact centers, and customer platforms for decades. With Metafore, Ori is returning to transform the very categories he helped create.

Ori's conviction comes from experience. He co-founded Scopus Technology in 1991 and led it from inception through IPO to its merger with Siebel Systems in 1998 — helping create the CRM category and, at the time, the second-largest applications company in the world. As President and CEO of Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, he scaled the company globally and orchestrated its acquisition by Alcatel in 2000, defining how enterprises connect with their customers.

Ori is also the founding General Partner of Primera Capital, where he has built one of the strongest investment track records in technology. His portfolio includes VMware, Fandango (acquired by Comcast), Chegg (CHGG), C3, VXtreme (acquired by Microsoft), NetDynamics (acquired by Sun Microsystems), GTNexus, Mobileum, Jitterbit, Navan and others. Before founding Primera, he was a partner at Apax Partners.

Recognized as Bay Area Entrepreneur of the Year in 1997, Ori holds an M.S. in Operations Research and a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
