Yasrine Ibnyahya is a seasoned engineering and innovation leader with over 20 years of experience in the global space and satellite communications industry. As Vice President of Innovation Ventures at Viasat, she drives the development and acceleration of next‑generation technologies, mission concepts, and emerging commercial opportunities across the company’s global portfolio. Throughout her career, Yasrine has led the creation and scaling of pioneering space and connectivity initiatives, including advanced 5G-integrated satellite architectures and multi‑orbit mission concepts. She has played a central role in forming strategic public‑private partnerships with major space agencies and international stakeholders to advance innovation across the sector.

Yasrine’s academic credentials include an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge and a Finance Diploma from the University of Oxford. She also holds two Master of Science degrees in communication systems from institutions in the UK and France.
