Bruno Moraes has led Wayra Capital since January 2025 and has been part of the Wayra team since January 2020. Bruno led Wayra UK as Country Manager, investing in startups across AI, cybersecurity, cloud, fintech, and IoT/B2B SaaS.
Before joining Telefónica, Bruno was an entrepreneur in the energy and telecommunications technology sectors. He co-founded Beegol, a machine-learning platform for diagnosing, self-recovery, and optimisation of broadband networks. He was the co-founder and CEO of Stogas, the first underground gas storage project in Brazil, until its sale to a strategic investor.
Prior to that, Bruno was an Associate Partner at McKinsey in Brazil and Germany, focusing on the telecommunications, technology, and energy sectors, in strategy, growth, and transformation projects.
