Jonathan Power

Speaker Bio

Dr Jonathan Power is a consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine in Liverpool, UK and leads the medical and performance department at Liverpool FC.  He has wide experience leading performance teams across sport and has enjoyed roles with the Football Association, England Rugby, Team GB at 2 Olympic Games and in both codes of rugby with Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire Carnegie.  He has research links with the University of Leeds supervising projects and teaching on the MSc in sport and exercise medicine.


In 2023 he was appointed at Liverpool FC.  As Director of Medicine and Performance he leads the integration of medicine and performance aspiring to be one of the world’s best departments.
