Simone was named SVP, Chief Partnerships Officer at Palo Alto Networks in August 2025. He leads the Global Partnerships and Ecosystems organization and is responsible for redefining the company’s partner-first strategy globally.
Prior to his role as Chief Partnerships Officer, Simone led the Strategy and Go To Market team for the company’s Network Security Portfolio and led GTM for the company’s SASE business. He also had worked with PANW’s executive team to set up the growth strategy for the company, while building some of Palo Alto Network’s key company assets (PANFS, ELAs, FLEXWork, etc). Simone brought his vast strategic advisory experience to Palo Alto Networks after spending more than a decade as a leader in McKinsey’s Fast Growth tech practice. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and he was trained as a computer science engineer.
A native of Italy, Simone now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time outdoors with his wife and two young daughters.
