Joao Gomes

Speaker Bio

Joao is Senior Director of Business Development for AI Factories at NVIDIA, where he leads global initiatives helping telecom operators evolve into providers of sovereign AI infrastructure, platforms and services. With more than two decades of experience, Joao has led product management, business development and technical sales across Juniper Networks, Nokia and Siemens in AI, cloud and edge spaces.

He specializes in creating new solution businesses end to end — from concept and ecosystem development to go-to-market design and large-scale sales execution with strategic partners and operators worldwide. Joao is passionate about the transformational impact of technology, and his proposed innovations include a granted U.S. patent (US 9,439,106) in the areas of mobile user experience and QoS. Joao holds a B.Eng. degree and an Executive MBA from the University of São Paulo.
