Speaker Bio

Begoña Villacís is a Spanish lawyer and executive with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. She holds a law degree from Universidad CEU San Pablo and a master’s in Tax Consultancy and Tax Law from Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid. Her professional career began in the legal field, where she advised companies on tax and commercial matters for over a decade. In 2015, she entered public service as a Madrid City Councilor and went on to serve as Deputy Mayor from 2019 to 2023. During her time in office, she played a key role in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and urban development.


After her tenure in public administration, she returned to the private sector, where she now focuses on technology and institutional relations. Villacís combines a strong legal background with strategic leadership across government and business, helping bridge public and private interests in highly dynamic sectors.
