Muninder Sambi

Speaker Bio

Muninder Singh Sambi is the Vice President of Product Management for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) at Google Cloud, where he is also responsible for the overall Google Cloud Telco strategy. He joined Google in 2022, having previously led Product Management for Cloud Networking, and held senior leadership positions in Palo Alto Networks and Cisco Systems

With over 20+ years of leadership experience in product management and engineering within global high-technology environments, he has a proven track record of building next-generation security, networking, and as-a-service software products, generating billions of dollars in revenue. He is a highly technical leader adept at managing product transitions and leading cross-functional, global product management and outbound marketing teams.

At Palo Alto Networks, he led the Product and Go-to-Market strategy for the Cloud-Delivered Security Services (CDSS) portfolio; successfully driving the transformation of security services by introducing the industry’s first ML-powered real-time core network security protections and expanded the portfolio into new $8B market segments, including Data Security and IoT Security. This work contributed to Palo Alto Networks' recognition as the #1 network security vendor.

While at Cisco, he managed the Enterprise Routing, Switching, and SD-WAN/Cloud Networking portfolio. He spearheaded the transformation of the infrastructure business to a software subscription model and seamlessly integrated the inorganic portfolio (SD-WAN and Thousand Eyes) into the enterprise portfolio.

Muninder holds an Electronics and Communication degree and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
