Ignacio Martínez González is Managing Director of IndraMind, Indra’s sovereign AI unit focused on building advanced intelligence capabilities for defense, security, and critical infrastructure. He leads the development of secure, mission-critical AI architectures that integrate advanced analytics, cyber-resilience, cloud, edge computing, and trusted data platforms to strengthen Europe’s technological autonomy in an era of hybrid threats and intensifying digital competition.

With a dual background as a PhD Civil Engineer (UPM) and Computer Engineer (UNED), Ignacio combines large-scale infrastructure expertise with deep technological specialization. He previously served as Chief of Staff to Indra’s President and CEO, contributing to the group’s corporate and technology strategy at the highest level, and earlier led global transport operations delivering complex digital transformation programs across international markets.

His work centers on the convergence of artificial intelligence, secure connectivity, and digital sovereignty as key enablers of resilience in the age of hybrid warfare — where cyber operations, AI-driven decision systems, infrastructure disruption, and information conflict increasingly shape geopolitical balance and economic competitiveness.
